My name is Iska Birnie and I am photographer based in Aberdeen. I often get asked, 'why do you love photography?' So, I've given it some thought... I love looking at photographs, always have. I love the stories photographs tell and especially the memories and emotions they hold.
Being able to capture these moments for my clients and create forever lasting memories is truly special to me. I will never get tired of the smile on clients faces when they see their photos or wall art for the first time. 
As Helmut Newton said, "You don't take a photograph, you make it."
